Also received 17 July letter enclosing printed form for reporting number of men and boys raised, those invalided, discharged and run from the Rendezvous or Tender in 1811. Encloses completed form (not with letter). States the Galliot Fanny is now finished, her moorings are still awaited. If considered appropriate would like four or six soldiers from the Garrison at Limerick to do duty on her which would give his five men more time and not cause an incovnience as she is within 300 yards of the Barracks. Encloses letter from Mayor of Limerick on the subject of River Boat men for comment.

Folios 269-270: enclosure with folios 267-268. Letter from William Hunt, Mayor, Limerick to Robert O'Brien, Regulating Captain dated 20 July 1812. Refers to the protection of boatmen employed in supplying the city with turf and potatoes and understands arragement entered into between him and them was conclusive. Cannot answer for any consequences for any interruption to the above mentioned supplies which are so essential for peace and prosperity of the city.
