Folios 261-262: Robert O'Brien, Regulating Captain, Limerick. Encloses list of 35 Pilots named by the Chamber of Commerce of Limerick as being the necessary number for the trade of the River Shannon and request the granting of Certificates of Protection from the Impress for them. Re-iterates the arrangement came to with Mayor and Magistrates set out in letter 16 May (Folios 246-248).
Folios 263-264: enclosure with folios 261-262. List of Persons to whom Certificates for Pilots have been Granted - Limerick - 22 June 1812. Lists the names of 35 Pilots together with place of residence, age, complexion and height.
