Folios 245: Robert O'Brien, Regulating Captain, Limerick. Encloses the estimates for fitting out the Galurt [?] for the newly raised men (not with letter). Although this may be additional expenses it would enable it to be easily converted into a floating battery in an emergency. Reports that Lieutenant Haswell [?} of the Landrail cutter, whilst on way to Cork from Shannon with newly raised men lost the head of the mast. Had been towed into [?] Harbour and hopes to proceed in 2 or 3 days.
