Folios 441-442: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Clyde, the Downs. Acknowledges the letter regarding the Atlanta tender attached to the Clyde. It has been added by that name to the Navy list. Last May on the day he was ordered to the River Eider with sealed orders and the tender by the order of Admiral Rowley, was left with the Prince of Orange his flagship. The tender was forced on shore due to a heavy gale and is being repaired. The information will be sent to the Admiral.
