Folios 397-398: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Clyde, Gravesend. Asks for six private Marines from Chatham to embark at the Nore since the ship is six short of the established number. As in the past, the Captain asks for an Officer of the Royal Marine Artillery to embark in order to superintending the small number of vessels he commands. He also asks for a Sergeant from the same Corps to be under command of that Officer.
Folio 399: enclosure with folios 397-398. Report dated 23 July 1807 by Captain Owen to the Admiralty. Lists the refitting details carried out at Gravesend. Orders to procced to the Downs but stop at Sheerness to be paid.
