Folios 389-390: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Clyde, off Gravesend. Encloses the proceedings of the order to sail to the entrance of the River Eider. He reports that there was no British Council at Sonningen to make necessary payments. With regard to the embarkation of HRH Duchess of Brunswick, he applied to Mr. Walter Bridge a local English Merchant whom he had known when commanding HM's vessels in Rivers Elbe and [Meissen?] and known as HM's Counsul at Cuxhaven. Mr. Bridge facilitated the vouchers and payments. The Captain encloses his letter.
Folio 391: enclosure with folios 389-390. Note dated 10 July by Captain Owen? to the Navy Board. Concerning payment of expenses.

Folios 393-394: enclosure with folios 389-390. Copy of Letter dated 15th June 1807 by Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Clyde, Off River Eider to Mr. Walter Bridge, Late Cousul to His Brittanic Majesty at Cuxhaven. The Captain asks Mr. Bridge to facilitate payments and vouchers for the Service and with regard to the voyage of HRH the Duchess of Brunswick. PS. The Captain asks that this information is kept confidential.
