Folio 339: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Clyde, Walmer Road. Informs that only three vessels under his orders have Sub-lieutenants. Their names and conduct reports are copied from their Commanders.
Folio 340: enclosure with folio 339. Report dated 27 April 1807 by Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Clyde, Walmer Road to the Admiralty. As ordered by Admiral Rowley, for Lieutenant William Hall , HMS Mosquito, Acting Lieutenant George Ramsay of the Eugenie, subsequently Sub-lieutenant of theTrompeuse under Captain Dolling and George Anderson of HMS Turbulent and Acting Lieutenant on HMS Pylades and was in action in HMS Northumberland off St. Domingo. All three Officers have descriptions of their good conduct and Ramsay merits promotion.
