Folios: 335-336: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Clyde, Dungeness. Reports that the Commander in Chief has directed as many as possible of the vessels damaged in the Winter gales to be repaired at Walmer Road since Sheerness Dockyard has already too many vessels. John [Symons?] the Carpenter of HMS Clyde has directed the repairs and acquitted himself with great diligence and ability and the Captain asks that that the former is paid the usual allowance of 3 shillings per day.
