Folios 176-177: Edward William Owen, HMS Clyde, [Malina Road?]. The Bearer, Mr. William Grapes an old Seaman, informs the Captain he was pressed into service by the Captain's father in the Cormorant, then into the Ariadne where he took his proper name England . He was impressed into the Crocodile Ganges, Ardent and Bellona and then employed in the rigging in Portsmouth. Three months ago he was impressed coming home from [India?]. He has behaved respectfully but his sight is failing and has lost the use of one eye. It appears as though he is entitled to asylum at Greenwich.
