Folios 151-152: Edward William Owen, HMS Clyde, Downs. HMS Dauntless is short of a Lieutenant. When confirmed, he has given an acting order to Mr. William Tapper, Sub-Lieutenant of the [Firm?] Gun vessel. The Captain sends a copy of the state of the Immortalité as compiled by Mr. Tapper, after which the latter was appointed to the [Firm?] and his conduct is exemplary.
