Folio 376: Robert Dudley Oliver, HMS Melpomene, off Falmouth. He has just spoken to Lieutenant Codd, HMS Liberty, from Gibraltar. He had received information that 2 French line of battle ships full of troops had sailed from Rochfort on 3 May. These are probably the ships referred to in his letter of 26 May 1805 mentioned by the Portuguese ship from Brazil.
