Folios 359-360: John Acworth Ommanney, HMS Isis, Nore. He has received a letter stating that he was to blame for the collision of HMS Isis with HMS Hildir by mooring near to HMS Hildir. He defends himself by stating that HMS Isis was moved by order of Vice Admiral Holloway from the position she had been anchored for 5 days, when HMS Hildir ran into her. HMS Isis was properly anchored when HMS Hildir was moved. He asks for an explanation of the minutes of the enquiry held onboard HMS Isis at the Downs. He hope they will be convinced that no blame attaches to him.
