Folios 252-253: Edward William Campbell Rich Owen, HMS Immortalité, Long Reach. States the cases of five impressed men: William Ferly, John Anderson, Thomas Hedley, William Brightman and James Greenwood.
Folio 254: enclosed with folios 252-253. Admiralty slip with instructions for dealing with Captain Owen's letter.
Folio 255: enclosed with folios 252-253. Affidavit dated 10 May 1803 and sworn by ship owner John Wood of Stepney, Middlesex, before Justice of the Peace Henry Pigeon at Union Hall, Southwark. Swears that William Ferley, son of George Ferley of Dunbar, North Britain, was bound to him as an apprentice in July 1801, but was impressed from his ship the Hopewell by a party from HMS Immortalité.
Folio 256: enclosed with folios 257-258. Indenture dated 14 July 1801 binding William Ferley, son of George Ferley of Dunbar, North Britain, as an apprentice to ship owner John Wood of Stepney.
Folios 257-258: enclosed with folios 252-253. Petition from John Wood, owner of the Hope of London, to the Admiralty. Seeks the discharge of his apprentice William Ferley, who was impressed on 7 May by a party from HMS Immortalité despite the fact that he had an Admiralty protection.
Folio 259: enclosed with folio 261. Certificate dated 10 May 1803 and signed by William Addy, Secretary of the Merchant Seamans' Office, Royal Exchange. Certifies that John Andrews is drawing a pension because of a wound in his leg from a musket ball suffered aboard the Everetta Patterson of London.

Folios 261-262: enclosed with folios 252-253. Petition dated 10 May 1803 from Constant Andrews to the Admiralty. Seeks the discharge of her husband John Andrews, encloses a certificate showing he was wounded in the leg and is now a pensioner of the Merchant Seamans' Office.
Folios 263-264: enclosed with folios 252-253. Undated petition from Joseph Carr, Master of the Dorothey & Ann of South Shields to the Admiralty. Seeks the discharge of Thomas Hedley, apprentice to ship owner Francis Jefferson, who was impressed by a party from HMS Immortalité on 7 May. Encloses [not present] his indenture.

Affidavit dated 9 May 1803 and signed by John Carr of South Shields, co Durham, Master of the Dorothey & Ann, before Justice of the Peace John Pinhorn at Union Hall. Swears that Thomas Hedley, son of Fenwick Hedley of South Shields and apprentice to ship owner Francis Jefferson, was impressed by a party from HMS Immortalité on 7 May.
Folio 266: enclosed with folios 267.-268 Affidavit dated 9 May 1803 and sworn by George Barker, Master and owner of the Newton of Hull, before Justice of the Peace [signature illegible] at the Union Hall. Swears that his apprentices William Brightman and James Greenwood were impressed on 7 May into HMS Immortalité, encloses [not present] their indentures.
