Date

Description

Folios 246-247: Henry Maneton Ommanney, Millbanik West. Observing that he has no interest with the Earl of St Vincent so is unlikely to be asked to serve in his chosen profession, he says he has been offered a commission in a volunteer corps in his country and would prefer that to doing nothing. Asks if they would object to this as degrading to the Service and if they could let him know.
