Folios 166-167: James Oughton, HMS Windsor Castle, Spithead. Following an enquiry from the Admiralty, he confirms that the pay books were send to them on board HMS Ville de Paris on 4 December 1800, as ordered by Lord St Vincent. When he arrived in England himself, he applied to the Navy Board to send the pay books and for Commissioner Fanshawe to send all the tickets that were assigned to Plymouth, to the pay office at Portsmouth.
