Folios 212-213: William Fitzwilliam Owen, HMS Flamer, Swansea. Advises that a letter dated 2 November was addressed to Bristol and has only just reached him. Advises that he was ordered by Admiral Sir Richard King Bart to discharge [Bartholomew] Watson and William Perkins as they are American Citizens. Advises they immediately received their wages and he understands they have proceeded in a merchant vessel for America.
