Folios 219-220: Edward O'Bryen, Yarmouth. Reporting that the Phoenix hired cutter arrived with dispatches for Admiral Duncan from HMS Garland off the Texel with details from Captain Douglas. HMS Standard and Lion have anchored with red flag. HMS Montague is bound for Nore with Captain Knight as a prisoner on board. HMS Nassau has hoisted the delegate flag. Admiral Duncan has the remaining 10 ships off Lowestoft. HMS Inspector and Comet are the only ships in the Roads without the red flag. Admiral Duncan has directed him to stop all ships bound for the Nore and prevent them anchoring there.
