Folios 349-351: John Orde, Batford Place. Reports that as he has been superceded in command of HMS Prince George and handed all her books to Captain William Edge, he cannot deal with the request from the wife of William Budd for the monies due to her husband. Before he left the ship he tried to make sure that every man who was due the Bounty had received it. Notes that he had shortly before been removed from HMS Venerable in order to get HMS Prince George ready for sea.
