Folios 323-324: John Orde, HMS Venerable, Spithead. Explains that when he reported that HMS Gibraltar was short of bread, he was not suggesting that the Agent Victualler Mr Cooper was neglecting his duties but felt it his duty to report the shortage. Believes the Agent did everything he could. He has been awaiting supplies of butter and cheese which have now arrived and which he will share with HMS Culloden.
