Folios 150-151: John Orde, HMS Victorious. Encloses a letter from Lieutenant Matt Buckle of HM Armed Ship Mary, if the Admiralty order her to go up the River [Thames]. he has some men from Greenwich Hospital to help her navigate.
Folios 152-153: enclosed with folios 150-151. Letter dated 4 May 1794 from Lieutenant Matt Buckle, HM Armed Ship Mary, the Nore. Reports his vessel is very leaky and in need of stores. Asks approval to take her to the owner's yard in the River Thames for a refit.
