Folios 506-507: Henry Edward Napier, HMS Rifleman, Portsmouth Harbour. Reply to letter dated 28 August 1815 and he states he has only commanded HMS Rifleman since 9 October 1814 and therefore cannot comment on the circumstances mentioned by Robert Ru[?]. Captain Alexander Innes commanded the ship at that time and only the Purser of HMS Rifleman was on board at that time and does not recollect anything about this man and HMS Sabrina.
