Folios 502-503: James Nash, HMS Saint George, Hamoze. States that HMS Saint George will be shortly Paid Off. He requests they reappoint the Reverend John Buller as Chaplain of HMS Saint George.
Folios 504-505: enclosure with folios 502-503. Letter dated 22 September 1815 by John Owen, 59 Scotland Yard, to the Admiralty. In a letter of yours to him dated 9 September 1815 it is said the Reverend John Buller has been appointed Chaplain to HMS Saint George. He has no such name as Buller in his List of Chaplains who have served nor has he heard of any such person, will you make inquiries about this.
