Folios 215-216: enclosure with folios 213-214. Letter dated 1 August 1814 by Rear Admiral Edward Griffith Esq., Halifax, to Mr Charles Pulser Acting Carpenter by Captain William John Napier order of HMS Erne hereby appointed to Act as Carpenter of HMS Erne.
Folio 217: Enclosure with folios 213-214: As directed by Rear Admiral Edward Griffith Esq., North American Station. Passing Certificate for Mr Charles Pulser as Carpenter. Dated 8 August 1814. Signed Petre Johnson - Carpenter HMS Success, James Slanus[?] - Carpenter HMS Dragon, William Richardson - Carpenter HMS Arpheus and Thomas Barclay - Captain HMS Success.
