He received directions from Rear Admiral Malcolm in the event of his falling in with any vessel bound to England to acquaint you that he was with his Squadron on the evening of 13 June 1814 in [Position stated]. HMS Wanderer is cruising to the Westward of Cape Finisterre under the orders of the Right Honourable Lord Viscount Keith [George Keith Elphinstone (1st Viscount Keith)] and will return to Plymouth on or about the 16 of next month.
