Folios 184-185: enclosure with folios 182-183. Letter dated 11 June 1814 by John Nicholas, Commander, 24 Wimpole Street, to the Admiralty. It has been offered to him whilst he may be unemployed in His Majesty's Service to Command one of the Cutters under the Honourably Commissioners of Excise for the Protection of His Majesty's Revenue, he has to request their approbation that he may accept such Command.
