Folios 156-157: Christopher Nixon, HMS Nightingale, Leith Roads. States Alexander Ramsey Supernumerary Boy on board HMS Nightingale having had his leave to go on shore on 25 December 1813 and the Ship sailing on 27 December 1813 was made Run on her Books. But having made his appearance on board HMS Latona Guard Ship on 27 December 1813 and in his opinion did not intend to desert, he recommends he is deserving of relief and requests an order for the R to be removed.
