Description

Folios 143-144: Joseph Nourse, HMS Severn, at Sea. [Details of an attack on a Convoy by two French Frigates [La Sultane & L'Étoile] bound to Bermuda on 18 January 1814. Gives details on two sides. Mentions:- His admiration of the cool and steady conduct of his First Lieutenant William Snuggs Gammon and every Officer and Man in the Ship Folio 145: enclosure with folios 143-144.
