Folios 139-140: James Murray Northey, Lyme Regis, Dorset. Reports that being the only Naval Character at this place, he has just been applied to by several very fine young fellows, who are employed at this place and Bridport, respecting a paragraph which appeared in the News Papers offering encouragement to Ship Wrights volunteering their services to America, as he is not acquainted with any particulars on the subject he could only acquaint them that he would make enquiries and in a few days if they called again let them now the result. He requests to know what he should say or do.
