Folios 132-133: Francis Newcombe, HMS Wanderer, Spithead. Reply to letter dated 22 December 1813 requiring that he explain the circumstances of his not attending a registration made from Captain Kempt the Agent of Transports at Quebec which [?] detained the Convoy till the 15 November 1813 & it also said in the extract of his letter that the Leandeman[?] arrived at Quebec on the 5 [November?] 1813 where she anchored there early in the Morning of the 4 [November?] 1813. Having already sent the orders he received from Captain Edmund Heywood, [HMS Ethalion] dated 27 October 1813 which directed him on any arrival at Quebec to proceed down the River to join HMS Ethalion at Brandy Pots Forty Eight Hours after his arrival at Quebec.
