Folios 128-129: Francis Newcombe, HMS Wanderer, Spithead. Reply to letter dated 21 December 1813, he states that the following ships:- HMS Dover with Army Invalides under orders to sail for England, HMS Aeolus and HMS Indian - Both preparing to be laid up for the Winter & their Crews were on the Lakes, were at Quebec at the time HMS Wanderer's departure which was on the 8 November 1813 and no other were in the River.
