Folios 473-474: James Nash, HMS Salvador del Mundo, Hamoaze. Refers to the enclosed letter from the purser and asks that further appropriate directions be sent to receiving ships.
Folios 475-476: enclosure with folios 473-474. Letter dated 23 February 1812 by R Holmes, purser, HMS Salvador del Mundo. Writes about a new regulation covering the purchase of pease and oatmeal. He is concerned that he has hitherto bought vegetables for the crew and supernumeraries of the stationary ship. If the new rule is imposed the men of HMS Salvador del Mundo will have no vegetables in their broth.
