Folios 112-113: Robert Nicholas, [His Agents] John Jackson & Co, New Bond Street, Covering letter for the enclosed appointment of Robert Nicholas Commander of HMS Lark as Acting Captain of HMS Garland by Vice Admiral Bartholomew Samuel Rowley, and this be confirmed by the admiralty.
Folios 114-115: enclosure with folios 112-113. Letter dated 27 July 1809 by Vice Admiral Bartholomew Samuel Rowley, HMS Polyphemus, Port Royal, to Robert Nicholas, HMS Lark. Jamaica. Orders to go on board HMS Garland as Acting Captain.
