Folios 251-252: Joseph Nunn, Bromyard. Herefordshire. [Gives details of his service. Mentions:-] Made Lieutenant in 1760, served in the French War in 1760 and after in the Peace, He served during the American [War?] in the West Indies and America, and was granted a tract of land, He Commanded HMS Halifax, Siege of Quebec, he Commanded a Company in the Garrison and made a Commander. In 1778 he commanded HMS Hound. He has for many years been severely afflicted with the Gout and being now in his 75 year. He request that addition to his Half Pay as a Commander which has been lately granted to a certain number of Officers of his rank.
