Folios 214-215: John Arthur Norway, HMS Tromp, Falmouth. Reply to letter dated 15 March 1806 in the case of Michael Sarsfield. He states he was impressed by him out of a West Indiaman in this Harbour in August 1803 and entered for HMS Tromp immediately and does not now appear to be more than fifty, he has always done his duty as one of the Carpenter's Crew.
Folios 216-217: enclosure with folios 214-215. Letter dated 11 March 1806 by Michael Sarsfield, HMS Tromp, Falmouth, to the Admiralty. He acknowledges receipt of their letter dated 3 March 1806. Asd they are unable to grant his request contained in his Petition he requests a discharge . He will procure a Seaman in his room. He is great distress from having a Daughter left with a young family & having a Wife and four small children entirely dependent on him for support and being 58 & quite infirm with sickness. He hopes they will discharge him.
Folios 218-219: enclosure with folios 214-215. Petition dated 28 February 1806 by Michael Sarsfield, HMS Tromp. Requests his discharge.
