Folios 210-211: John Arthur Norway, HMS Tromp, Falmouth. Reply to letter on the subject of Jacinto Pereira de Lacerda said to be a native of Portugal on board HMS Tromp. He reports that there is no such man of the name on HMS Tromp, but there is a man Alexander Pratter alias Perio who states himself to be a subject of Portugal now on HMS Tromp but he has no documents to prove this. He was apprehended at Falmouth by the Impress as a deserter from HMS Vanguard.
