Folios 145-146: Thomas New, Regulating Officer, Swansea. Reply to letter dated 1 November 1806 and states the case of Henry Eastaway impressed at this Port. When the said man was examined by him no claim appeared on the score of his being an Apprentice and no indenture was produced. He was stated to be under age but to himself and Officers appearance were to the contrary. Some days subsequently a Copy of Register was sent him but the Henry Eastaway had been sent off and is now in Plymouth.

Folio 149: enclosure attached folios 147-148. Copy of Christening:- Henry Son of Henry & Elizabeth Eastaway 17 January 1790. Signed James Nye and Henry Stevens Church Wardens. 28 October 1806. [Declaration] Elizabeth Eastaway Mother of Henry Eastaway Maketh oath that he was born 24 December 1789. Sworn before Thomas Rodd. 29 October 1806.
