Folios 127-128: Thomas New, Regulating Officer, Swansea. States he has received a letter from Admiral [Sir] William Young Commander in Chief at Plymouth acquainting him that in consequence of directions from the Admiralty, he had sent the Hope Armed Tender to this place in lieu of the Clevland Tender. He reports that the [HMS] Hope is arrived and that the [HMS] Clevland Tender remains in the harbour and awaits their orders.
