Description (What the record is about)

Folios 91-92: Thomas New, Regulating Officer, Swansea. Reply to letter dated 28 February 1806 and state the case of Thomas Tomlinson impressed at this port. The said man was an assistant to his Father in Law, a Tradesmen in Swansea and having behaved in a riotous manner and threatened the life of the latter, he gave information of his having been several voyages to the West Indies out of Bristol, in consequence he was impressed. The Partys have now come forward with an offer of an Able Man as substitute.
Folios 93-94: enclosure with folios 91-92: Letter dated 26 February 1806 by William Phillips, Swansea, to the Admiralty. Covering letter for the enclosed Petition of Thomas Tomlinson.
Folios 95-96: enclosure with folios 91-92. Undated petition of Thomas Tomlinson of Swansea requesting his discharge.
