Folios 86-87: Robert Jenner Neve, HMS San Josef, Torbay. Reply to a letter received today addressed to Mr George Lugger, Carpenter's Mate of HMS San Josef. He states there is no such person on board but suppose it must be meant for George Franklin, whose wife is related to the family of Lugger, so he opened it and find he is appointed Carpenter to HMS Grasshopper at Portsmouth. He requests that the Warrant be corrected and states he will immediately be discharged to join his proper ship. [Date on letter 16 December 1806 entered as 1805 as it is assumed a clerical error].
