Folios 76-77: James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. Reply to letter dated 5 November 1806 enclosing a Petition from Mr Cusine for the discharge of John Grinton. He states that he was impressed on 8 October 1806 on his way from the Country where he had been some days, on his regulating John Grinton he did not discover any imperfection in his speech or appearance, but that he is a strong active man about 20 and very fit for His Majesty's Service. But should they feel inclined to favour the application, he thinks his friends should be obliged to furnish two seaman for him.
Folios 78-79: enclosure with folios 76-77. Petition dated 2 December 1806 by of Robert Cousine of Edinburgh for the discharge of John Grinton.
