Folios 68-69: James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. Covering letter for the enclosed letter he has received from Lieutenant Archibald Bryan Meheux and Lieutenant Davidson of the Impress Service. Request this be laid before the Admiralty and he be informed of the result.
Folios 70-71: enclosure with folios 68-69. Letter dated 7 October 1806 by Lieutenant Archibald Bryan Meheux and Lieutenant Peter Davidson. to James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. States that having seen an order that the Pay of Lieutenants of the Navy is augmented one shilling per Day and their appointments from the Admiralty says they are to receive the pay of Lieutenant of a First Rate they beg to know if they are entitled to the additional Shilling per Day.
