Folios 53-54: James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. Reply to letter dated 14 March 1806 and states in the cases of:- John Young, James Ingles & James Robertson. They were impressed by Lieutenant Davidson under his orders on 10 March 1806 a Mile and a Half from Leith on their way from Leith and not towards it, they had no protection.
Folios 55-56: enclosure with folios 53-54. Letter dated 10 March 1806 by John Watson, Messrs Medderburn & Co, Leith to the Admiralty. Requesting the discharge of James Ingles - Caulker, John Young -Caulker's Mate & James Robertson Carpenter's First Mate.
Folios 57-58: enclosure with folios 53-54. Letter dated 13 March 1806 by [W?] & Co, Leadenhall Street, to the Admiralty. Request the release of:- James Ingles, John Young & James Robertson.

Folios 60-61: enclosure with folios 53-54. Letter dated 16 March 1806 byM Douglas, Clark, Kirkeide, to James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith. He has checked the Rolls of Balloted men within Kirkaldy Subdivision both under the Militia & Reserve Acts. He did not find the names of any of the three men [James] Ingles, [John] Young or [James] Robertson in the list. There is included a John Robertson who was balloted.
