Folios 49-50: James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. Reply to letter dated 29 January 1806 he states that John Henderson - Carpenter was impressed in consequence of information, stating that he had engaged himself to work in a ship builders yard until the Ship Turton (which is undergoing a long repair) is ready to receive her crew, as this appeared to him to be merely a cloak for protection, he did after Regulating the man order him to be sent onboard HMS Texel, just after he was availed on by Mr Robb, entreated him to investigate the matter still further before he sent Henderson off, which he consented to but before his note reached the Rendezvous he was sent a [?]. He observes that Mr Robb has fully made up his mind as to the Mans being kept for the Service.
