Folios 35-36: James Nash, Regulating Captain, Leith Rendezvous. Reply to letter dated 13 January 1806he states that William Muir was impressed by information about a mile from Leith, did belong to the Sprightly Smack at the time, when regulated he complained of a swelling in the knee, which might have arisen from rheumatism, but the Surgeon declaring him fit he was sent off. Should their Lordships be pleased to take a Seaman Substitute for William Muir, he thinks the Service would rather benefit by it then otherwise.
Folios 37-38: enclosure with folios 35-36: Eliza Muir, Watergate, Edinburgh. To Admiralty. Dated 10 January 1806. Requests the return of her Husband William Muir Impressed in Leith on 26 December 1805 by the Nightingale Armed Ship when the substitutes will be delivered.
