Folios 386-387: James Northey, HMS Curlew, off Hastings. He wrote to Sir Harry Neal at the Admiralty regarding the appointment of a Lieutenant to the ship. He has learnt that Sir harry is no longer responsible for these appointments so repeats his request that the new Officer is junior to Robert Sangster, Acting 1st Lieutenant.
