Folios 319-320: James Newman Newman, HMS Veteran, the Downs. He encloses a letter from Lord Keith who has declined to request that HMS Veteran is allowed 14 additional sweeps.
Folios 321-322: enclosed with folios 319-320. Letter dated 13 July 1804 by Lord Keith, HMS Monarch, off Ramsgate. He says that he is unwilling to forward the request for additional sweeps as he does not believe it would be agreed.
