Folios 292-293: Thomas New, Regulating Officer, Swansea. He encloses a letter from the Mayor of Carmathen informing him that he has two two men in custody who are fit for the Navy. He asks permission to send a party to collect the men as it is a journey of 30 miles.
Folios 294-295: enclosed with folios 292-293. Undated letter by William Herpan, Mayor, Carmathen. He reports that he has in custody two men as a result of their riotous and disorderly behaviour. He says that they would be suitable for the navy.
