Folios 280-281: Thomas New, Regulating Officer, Swansea. He reports that Lieutenant Thomas Bennett has been seriously ill with a fever. He has partially recovered, but is now mentally disturbed. Thomas New recommends that he is superceded immediately and encloses the report of the Surgeon.
Folios 282-283: enclosed with folios 280-281. Letter dated 18 July 1804 by Charles Collins, Surgeon, Swansea. He certifies that Lieutenant Thomas Bennett is totally unfit for for the Service.
