Folios 271-272: Thomas New, Regulating Officer, Swansea. He states the case of Churchil Meddis who was impressed by the Cleveland tender. Lieutenant Parker, Cleveland tender, believes that Meddis is a suitable man for the navy and that he has been at sea for three years.
Folios 273-274: enclosed with folios 271-272. Petition dated 22 May 1804. William Meddis calls for the discharge of Churchil meddis who has been impressed. He says that he is an Apprentice, possesses a notice of protection and has not been at sea for three years.
