Description

Folios 242-243: Thomas New, Regulating Officer, Swansea. He reports that the Merchants and Shipowners of the area have requested that their ships are convoyed to Plymouth and Falmouth.

Folios 244-245: enclosed with folios 242-243. Undated petition of 20 Merchants and Shipowners of Swansea and adjacent areas requesting that their ships are escorted when sailing to Plymouth and Falmouth.

Folio 246: enclosed with folios 242-243. Letter dated 10 March 1804 by William Furston, Harbour Office, Swansea. Covering letter for the petition of Swansea Merchants requesting the establishment of a convoy schedule for their ships.
